Emergency
Management, a unit of the Division of Public Safety and
Security, helps coordinate drills and exercises with U-M
schools, colleges and departments that want customized
procedures based on their specific hazards or building
requirements. We also help coordinate campus-wide drills and
exercises as needed to facilitate large-scale preparedness.
Previous exercises have addressed what to do in the event of:
- Severe weather
- Loss of a facility
- Fire
- Active violence incident
- Power outage
